The Australian Hotels Association (WA) commends five leading WA hospitality venues for receiving the ultimate recognition in Australian hospitality at the at the highly competitive Australian Hotels Association’s National Awards for Excellence.
Over 700 guests gathered in Sydney last night, where Australia’s leading hospitality venues were awarded with the prestigious honour of being the best in Australia within their respective categories.
Five WA venues were acknowledged as being the best in Australia across highly competitive categories. The winners were:
Hybla Tavern, Middleton Beach Albany – Australia’s Best Regional Bistro
Rose & Crown Hotel, Guildford – Australia’s Best Metropolitan Bistro
Fleur at The Royal Hotel, Perth – Australia’s Best Metropolitan Restaurant
The Ritz-Carlton, Perth – Australia’s Best Deluxe Accommodation
Treendale Farm Hotel, Australind took out one of the top awards – Best Overall Hotel of the Year Regional Australia.
AHA(WA) President Neil Randall was inducted into the AHA Hall of Fame acknowledging his significant service and contribution to the WA hotel and hospitality industry.
AHA(WA) CEO Bradley Woods said the awards are testament to the dedication of the five venues and their staff, who have maintained an unwavering focus on hospitality excellence.
“Congratulations to these venues for securing these highly coveted awards, which are chosen from the very best field of finalists in Australia,” Mr Woods said.
“WA’s hospitality industry has evolved remarkably over the past decade, with metropolitan Perth and the regions home to some of the best venues in the country,” Mr Woods said.
“On behalf of the WA hotel and hospitality industry, congratulations to Neil Randall, the 2022 Diageo Johnnie Walker Hall of Fame recipient. Neil’s hospitality career spans over 40 years and will soon become the longest-serving President in the history of the AHA(WA). This award recognises a true industry icon.”
