The Australian Hotels Association (WA) have today revealed the finalists of the 2022 AHA & Furphy WA’s Best Steak Sandwich Competition.
For the past month, 63 venues have competed to attract votes from eager patrons across WA. Today, eight venues are one step closer to being crowned the creator of the 2022 WA’s Best Steak Sandwich.
The 2022 finalists are as follows:

Karalee on Preston (Como)
Seven Sins Perth Hills

Australian Hotels Association (WA) CEO Bradley Woods said the competition has again proven to be extremely successful, with chefs across the state creating a range of exciting variations on a classic pub meal.
“Despite the ongoing impact of COVID-19, Western Australians have turned out in force to support their local pubs, restaurants, taverns and hotels,” Mr Woods said.
“Over the past month, WA chefs have yet again produced an incredibly impressive number of steak sandwiches, with a focus on innovation and quality.”
“An enormous amount of time, effort and pride goes into producing a steak sandwich that makes it to the finals of this epic competition and it is clear that this year we are set for an exciting cook-off.”
The country WA and Perth finalists will participate in a live cook-off at the AHA Hospitality Expo at Crown Perth on Tuesday 28 June 2022 and Wednesday 29 June 2022 respectively.
