11 March 2022
The Australian Hotels Association (WA) has today announced the finalists of the 2022 AHA Perth Airport Accommodation Awards for Excellence.
AHA(WA) CEO Bradley Woods said in the face of the ongoing disruption and uncertainty associated with COVID-19, WA’s accommodation hotels have continued to focus on delivering industry excellence.
“While the past two years have been dominated by the pandemic, accommodation hotels and their staff have remained committed to ensuring they provide a first-class hospitality offering,” Mr Woods said.
“WA’s success in managing COVID-19 has seen more Australians rediscovering our own back yard, allowing the state’s hotels to accommodate a wider domestic audience.”
“Our accommodation industry is well positioned for the return of interstate and international visitors, with the largest and most diverse range of accommodation options that the state has ever seen.”
“Over the course of the pandemic, we have seen new hotels open their doors, placing the state in an excellent position to rebound strongly once flight paths into WA are restored.”
“The Accommodation Awards for Excellence provides an opportunity to acknowledge the constant pursuit of excellence, which has continued uninterrupted over the past two years despite even the most challenging circumstances.”
The annual AHA (WA) Accommodation Awards for Excellence is the WA hotel and accommodation industry’s most prestigious night of recognition, with over 20 award categories acknowledging the state’s best hotels and their dedicated employees.
The 2022 AHA Perth Airport Accommodation Hotel Awards for Excellence will be presented at the Devil’s Lair Gala Ball at Crown Perth on 16 May 2022.
