The Australian Hotels Association (WA) commends three leading WA hospitality venues for receiving the ultimate recognition in Australian hospitality at the at the highly competitive Australian Hotels Association’s National Awards for Excellence.
Over 500 guests gathered in Hobart for a presentation dinner, where Australia’s leading hospitality venues were awarded with the prestigious honour of being the best in Australia within their respective categories.
Three WA venues were celebrated for securing awards across highly competitive categories.
Tonic & Ginger at The Old Synagogue won Australia’s Best Restaurant Award (Metropolitan), the Treendale Farm Hotel in Australind won the Best Family Dining Award and Karratha’s Blanche Bar took home the Best Tourism Initiative Award.
AHA(WA) CEO Bradley Woods said the awards are testament to the dedication of the three venues and their staff, who have maintained an unwavering focus on hospitality excellence.
“Congratulations to these venues for securing these highly coveted awards, which are chosen from the very best field of finalists in Australia, Mr Woods said.
“WA’s hospitality industry has evolved remarkably over the past decade, with metropolitan Perth and the regions home to some of the best venues in the country,” Mr Woods said.
“Whilst the pandemic has had, and will continue to have, a profound impact on the industry, WA has been fortunate to have seen a number of new venues open in recent years, while others have undergone significant expansions and refurbishments.”
“When we do reopen our doors to the world and welcome back visitors, we can do so in the knowledge that our hospitality industry boasts world-class options across the state.”
